Learning Spanish

After leaving my job a while back, one of the first things I did was to set myself the goal of learning a language. As Spain seemed a cool language and only a 3 hour flight from my home town of Newcastle Upon Tyne UK I picked Spanish and off I went.  I tried teaching myself at first using the Rosetta Stone learning software and I even did a few classes in Alicante but in the end a chance meeting with a well travelled Spanish teacher gave me the idea of learning Spanish in Costa Rica and inadvertently awoke my passion and set me on my path of my travel adventures.
